Give Artemis context

Context brings the relevant code, constraints and evidence into a task. Artemis reads the files in your repository, and you can add guidance of your own. A profiler report added to the repository points Artemis at the hot paths.

Artemis can also use tools through MCP Connections, for example profiling, logging or error-tracking services that expose an MCP server. You choose which connections to add and what they can access.

In the video, a particle simulation compares every pair of particles even though forces only act within a fixed radius. A profile points to that loop, and Artemis proposes an Experiment that checks only nearby particles through a spatial grid. Context focuses the search. Your configured tests and benchmark then measure how the change affects runtime and memory.
